East Riverfront Inclusive Playground – South Jordan, Utah

East Riverfront Inclusive Playground in South Jordan gives families an elevated, accessible play experience inspired by the Jordan River corridor. Located within East Riverfront Park, the playground uses wetland and river-themed details to create a setting that feels connected to the natural landscape surrounding it.

Big T Recreation and Playworld® worked with South Jordan City to design and install a playground that includes accessible play components, Sky Towers® elevated play structures, nature-inspired climbing, and inclusive design elements. The project gives children of varying abilities a shared play environment where everyone can participate.

East Riverfront Inclusive Playground is one of Big T’s strongest examples of accessible and inclusive play design at the community park level. It demonstrates how thoughtful design can create an environment where all children can climb, explore, and play together.

Why This Playground Was a Good Fit

East Riverfront Park needed a playground that could serve the whole community, including children with disabilities and their families. This project was a strong fit because it helped South Jordan:
