The Greyhawk Park playground gives Layton families a neighborhood play space with variety, movement, and visual interest. With Playworld® equipment and a design created in coordination with city and project partners, the playground helps support everyday outdoor recreation for nearby residents.
Big T Recreation was selected to design, supply, and install the playground at Greyhawk Park in Layton. The play environment includes a mix of climbing, sliding, rope-style challenge, and movement play — features that help children build confidence, stay active, and move through the playground in different ways.
As a neighborhood park project, Greyhawk Park shows how a well-planned playground can become a daily gathering point for families. It gives children a place to play close to home while helping strengthen the sense of community around the park.
Greyhawk Park needed a playground that could serve a growing residential community with an engaging, multi-age play experience. This project was a strong fit because it helped Layton City:
Climbing structures and rope-style play elements give older children physical challenge and variety. These features encourage strength, balance, and problem-solving while keeping play interesting across multiple visits.
Zipline or zip ride elements add a thrilling movement experience that children return to again and again. This feature raises the energy of the playground and supports active, whole-body play for school-age children.
The inclusion of toddler-scaled play elements makes Greyhawk Park accessible to younger children and caregivers. A separate or designated toddler area allows mixed-age families to enjoy the playground safely and comfortably.
Greyhawk Park gives Layton families a neighborhood playground with variety, movement, and lasting appeal. With Playworld equipment and a collaborative design process, the project supports daily outdoor recreation and community connection in a growing residential area.
